    Walk the Rhythm.

A nine-month formation practice. Small group. One director. No performance.

Most spiritual spaces are designed to give you more information. They fill your notebook with bullet points and your calendar with obligations. Walk the Rhythm is designed to do the opposite. It is a process of subtraction.

For nine months, a small cohort of people commits to a shared rule of life. We do not read ten books; we read one text slowly. We do not try to master God; we try to sit quietly in His presence.

    The Practice

The rhythm is simple, but it is not easy. It requires a willingness to stop performing. Each month, the cohort focuses on a specific practice:

    • Silence and solitude
    • Reading scripture without an agenda
    • Honest prayer (lament and gratitude)
    • Sabbath keeping
    • Hospitality and the table

"I spent twenty years trying to be a good Christian. Walk the Rhythm was the first time I was allowed to just be a human being whom God loves."

    The Commitment

We ask for nine months. You will meet with the cohort twice a month, and you will meet with Robb for one-to-one direction once a month. You commit to the daily practices as best as you can, giving yourself grace when you fail.

The investment for the nine months is $1,200, which can be paid monthly. We never want money to be the reason you cannot participate. If you need a different arrangement, just ask.

The next cohort begins in August 2026.
