    What you get

A journal and open book beside a ceramic cup and candle on a wooden table
    • Eight weekly sessions on Zoom, Mondays 6:30 to 8:00 pm Eastern. Week 1 starts with what spiritual formation is. Week 8 ends on love.
    • A simple weekly rhythm. Every week follows the same five steps, so what you hear on Monday has somewhere to go during the week.
    • A place to say what is true for you, including the doubts. Nobody will ask you to perform.
    • A short welcome video before we begin, so you know what to expect.
    • A private community space for the cohort, with each week's step waiting for you, to follow on your own time.

    This is for you if

    • You are new to this and want a clear place to begin.
    • You have been around faith for years and something still feels unsettled.
    • You have questions or doubts and would like room to say them out loud.
    • You do not have polished answers. That is fine. You only need to be willing.

Eight weeks, one step at a time

There are no tests and nothing to prepare. Week 1 opens the whole journey together.

    1. Week 1: an open Bible, small cross and candle on linen

      1.What is spiritual formation

A plain definition, and an honest place to start.

    2. Week 2: a stone garden path lined with olive trees

2.Where it all began: God and the garden

Where relationship, presence and belonging first took shape.

    3. Week 3: a quiet room with linen curtains and a lit oil lamp

3.Holy Spirit, our partner in transformation

Change goes deeper when you are accompanied. You do not have to strive alone.

    4. Week 4: a sealed letter tied with an olive branch on a wooden table

      4.Forgiveness

Letting go, and the freedom that starts with mercy.

    5. Week 5: bread and two cups of tea on a dark linen table

      5.Grace and mercy

What meets you in weakness and on ordinary days.

    6. Week 6: an open prayer book beside a lit candle

      6.Prayer

A quiet, honest conversation with God.

    7. Week 7: a narrow path through morning mist, tall grass and stone markers

      7.Faith and doubt

Room for your questions. Uncertainty can still belong here.

    8. Week 8: a glowing lamp beside olive branches on a wooden table

8.Love, the conclusion of the matter

Where formation is meant to lead.

    How each week works

The same five steps, every week.

    • ·

      Consider.

Name where you are and what is asking for your attention.

    • ·

      Learn.

      Teaching from Scripture.

    • ·

      Pause.

Notice what stirs in you: a memory, a prayer, a response.

    • ·

      Practice.

One simple step into your day.

    • ·

      Notice.

Come back quietly to what is changing in you, and to your sense of God's presence.

A letter sealed with wax on a table

"I found the spiritual formation group to be a place that I have been longing to be a part of for quite some time. To be able to be in a community with brothers and sisters in the faith and really just have open conversations about the things that form and inform our faith was very healing, encouraging and a safe place with elders who truly know how to lead and guide our conversations in a manner so that we can be spiritually transformed from the inside out. I'm truly grateful for this circle!"
